When it Comes to Sales Presentations, Think Billboards

When preparing a sales presentation, you may be prone to include as many slides, pictures, facts, and data as possible to convince your client that you offer the best alternative.

Do not fall into this trap. It can create a jumbled and overwhelming message for prospective buyers who are looking for you to provide clear and compelling solution to their most pressing problems.

Instead, think about billboards. Billboards have one clear message that must convince potential buyers as they zoom past at 65+ miles per hour. They focus on the one thing that will grab their target buyer. So instead of adding more ideas, try limiting yourself to five slides with one key idea per slide.

The key is focusing on your core idea and removing everything else. This allows you to attract target clients that find your message compelling. And remember, it is about the value you can add to your client, not the slides.
