Add Variety to Your Sales Presentations to Persuade

There is nothing more boring than listening to the same, lone speaker drone on from behind a podium or at a board room table. To keep the attention of your audience, you need to change it up. Here are two proven ways to add life and interest to your sales presentations.

  • Don’t hog the stage. Invite others to join you. Is there a subject matter expert who could lend some insight? Perhaps you have a team member with acting ability who could join you in a role play? Can you include a satisfied customer?
  • Mix up the media. Do your slides have visual appeal? Is there an entertaining short video that can highlight a key point? Do you have a product that can be demonstrated on stage?

The purpose of any sales presentation training is to help participants to better persuade their audience. Do not lose the attention of your potential customers with a monologue. Keep them entertained and they are far more likely to remember and act upon your message.
