3 Ways to Better Connect With Your Audience

When you have an important sales presentation, how can you better connect with your audience to help them succeed?

It is very simple…you have to get to know them…what they care about, how they spend their time, and why they have come to hear you.

Ask the following sales presentation and coaching best practices questions with your specific audience in mind and let the answers guide your presentation’s approach and content.
  1. What are their responsibilities? Try to relate to them through understanding what personal and professional challenges they face from day-to-day, how their success is measured, and by whom.
  2. What do they worry about? What job-related issues nag at them…making their numbers or losing to the competition, for example?
  3. How can you help them? What specifically can you offer (better than someone else) that will solve their problems or help them reach their targets?
