Important Sales Presentation? How to Keep Your Audience Engaged

The very first principle that should be taught in any sales presentation training is that you as a presenter should know your audience and keep YOUR eye on THEM. If you know what they hope to gain from you and if you make your session interactive and focused on their most pressing needs, you will be far more successful at delivering your message. 

Beyond that basic sales presentation advice, here are some recommendations that will keep your sales presentation lively, memorable and engaging:

  1. Use compelling stories to convey your information. Not only will it be far easier for your audience to identify with a story than a chart, but it will also be easier for them to remember your central points.
  2. Use pictures that evoke emotion. Rather than just list the benefits of your offering, try using an attention-grabbing photo. ..triumphant mountain climbers showing the success of your project , for example, or a high flying balloon to represent how you soared over the competition.
  3. Stay lively with your vocal tones and your body movements. It’s OK to emote a bit…you’re excited about what you have to convey. You believe in your message.  A little authentic passion will go a long way to keep your audience connected to your message.
